Slide Into Intern Life: Elena

I would say my ISlide experience has been one of the most unique experiences so far. On my first day this summer I was told I would not only be an event planning intern but also the HEAD of HR. As someone who has had absolutely no experience in either of those fields you can only guess my immediate nervousness and apprehension. Now, after a month of working at ISlide, I can honestly say I am so thankful for having been given this challenge. Sure I’ve hit many bumps along the road but the team has been so supportive and if you mess up, you laugh about it, crack a few jokes, and the next time you “crush it”. Being the head of HR has also awarded me the wonderful nickname of “mom”, so that’s quite exciting.

Working at ISlide is unlike anything else I have ever done. It is hard to find an environment that is so success driven but also knows how to have a fun at the same time. That is exactly how I would describe ISlide. It is so interesting to see the growth of such a unique company and I am so grateful I am able to be a part of it.
